Rosalaine Broussard Richmond, 66, of Sandstone passed away Saturday April 6, 2019 at her home following a sudden illness.
Born March 21, 1953 at Jeanerette, LA she was the daughter of the late Whitney Paul and Pearl Marie Bouillion Broussard. She was a housewife, former cook for Lafayette Louisiana Parish School Board who enjoyed Facebook, going out to eat dinner and spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by one brother, Glenn Broussard.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 23 years, Emmett Richmond of Sandstone; one daughter, Racheal Ann Conner and husband Rick of Bristol, TN; one son, Ryan Trahan and wife Candace of Sandstone; four grandchildren, Logan and Laina Trahan, Minnie and Keira Conner; lifelong friend, Mary Delcambre and four brothers, Sonny Broussard and wife Shirley, Ricky Moore and wife Barbara, Calvin Broussard and Garland Broussard all of Louisiana.
Graveside service and burial will be held 1:00 pm Saturday April 13, 2019 at the Richmond Family Cemetery on Shepherd Mtn. with Pastor Felix Baker officiating. Family and friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel from 11:00 am until we leave for the cemetery at 12:30 pm.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
