Patty Ann Ward, 56, of Brooks passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at home following a sudden illness.
Born June 30, 1963 at Hinton she was the daughter of Gail Ward of Brooks and the late Robert Lacy Ward.
Patty was a graduate of Avis school. She attended Kingdom Hall in Hinton. Patty enjoyed watching television and coloring, she loved the color red.

How much fun we would have and the BiG Mediorite we saw streak across the sky! And how she would tell Jim how blue his eyes were. Or how we would ALL go to Beckley and pile into a New Van and give it the BIG try out for comfort and room to go down there in style. Jim n Joey jumping on the back bumper with Patty and Joyce and the rest of us inside to see how it held up! All of us laughing. Looking forward to her laughter and no more sickness. Our prayers to you Gail and Bonnie as well as Joey and the rest of your family.

You are all very special to me. I have watched your love, devotion, endurance and strength for many years......everyone of you. And you make my heart happy.
It was such a pleasure to be with Patty when she was well and able to go to Assemblies. She paid attention and she was such a good singer.
1 Thessalonians 4:13 is a very comforting scripture at times like this.
