Glema Blanche Cochran Wills, 98, of Jumping Branch passed away on February 27, 2015 at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital following a short illness.
Born September 25, 1916 at Jumping Branch, she was the daughter of the late Michael Alexander and Ora Dell Mills Cochran.
Blanche was a member of the Little Bluestone Primitive Baptist Church. She was a homemaker that enjoyed gardening and cooking. She enjoyed entertaining people at dinner time and topping it all off with a delicious piece of pie. Blanche was a kind, gentle woman who always looked for the good in people. She loved spending time with her friends and family.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Alfred Harloe Wills.
She is survived by four daughters, Marinda Shelton and husband Martin of Princeton, Doris Bradberry of Leatherwood, Carolyn Williams of Jumping Branch, Sheila Crook and husband Roy of Nimitz; eight grandchildren, Randy Shelton of Dearborn, Michigan, Sharon Graver and husband Timothy of Cheshire, CT, David Scott Bradberry and wife Jennifer of Leatherwood, Pamela Susan Grose and husband Rick of Leatherwood, Tony Williams and fiancé Lisa Wood of Jumping Branch, Michael Williams of Jumping Branch, Andrea Massie and husband Sam of True, Roy Lee Crook and wife Kim of Nimitz; fifteen great grandchildren; and three brothers, Cecil Cochran of Roanoke, VA, Hubert Cochran of Daniels and Ned Cochran and wife Regina of Jumping Branch.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday March 3, 2015 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Elder Tommy Pack officiating. Burial will follow in the Cochran Cemetery at Jumping Branch when weather permits. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Monday March 2, 2015 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
