Evangeline Lilly Keith, 90, of Princeton passed away Monday August 31, 2020 at her home following a long illness.
Born April 22, 1930 in Hinton she was the daughter of the late Paul S. and Mae Ward Lilly. Evangeline was a graduate of the Mid South Bible College in Memphis, TN, the Charleston Beauty Academy and the Enrii School of Beauty Culture in Memphis, TN. A member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 358 Princeton, WV and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 6000 in Narrows, VA. She was the owner and secretary of V & D Auto Supply Co. Inc. and distributor for Wynn Oil Co. for the State of WV with 35 years of service until her retirement. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Keith; one son, Robert Bower and three sisters, Pauline Lane, Jewell Massey and Frances Carroll.
Those left to cherish her memory include two grandchildren, Lee Bower and Darlene Bragg; four great grandchildren, Austin Bower, Makala Bower, Breanna Bragg and Dillon Bragg and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Mark Brandon officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends may call from noon until time of the services on Thursday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
