Effie Hill Shrader Henry, 73, of Madams Creek, Hinton went home to be with the Lord Wednesday August 4, 2021 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley following a long illness.

Born October 31, 1947 at Summers County she was the daughter of the late William Hill Jr. and Beulah Blankenship Hill Ramsey and Stepfathers, Herbert Hill and Alfred “Rabbit’ Ramsey.  A homemaker who attended Martha’s Chapel United Methodist Church she enjoyed crocheting, her animals, flowers, and spending time with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her spouses, Johnny Allen Shrader and Bob Henry as well as her companion, Alton Via.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Jeffrey Allen Shrader of Madams Creek; six brothers and sisters, Diana Hill McBride and husband Lacy, David Ramsey and wife Pam, Fred “Bo”  Ramsey and companion Shirley, Ona “Cindy” Ramsey Weiss, Rita Dame and husband Richard Alvis, and Lavonna Braswell and husband Bill.  Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.

Graveside services and burial will be held 11:00 am Saturday August 7, 2021 at the Hill Family Cemetery at Pipestem with Speaker Charles Blankenship Jr. officiating.  Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:30 am until service time on Saturday.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made to P.O. Box 760 Hinton, WV 25951 for the funeral expenses.
