Donald Yopp

Donald Ray Yopp, 57, of Hinton entered into eternal rest Monday, November 18, 2019 at Charleston Area Medical Center General Division following a sudden illness.

Born June 8, 1962 at Hinton he was a son of Bonnie L. Yopp of Talcott and the late Ermel Yopp.

Donald was a roofer and auto mechanic who specialized in foreign transmissions. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Yopp; a nephew, Alex Fleshman; a niece, Debra Robbins; half-brothers, James, Carl, Clarence and Jerry Yopp and a half-sister, Mattie Lawrence.

Besides his mother he is survived by seven children, Elizabeth Yopp and Jason Yopp, both of Hinton, Hope Earhart of New River Rd. and Raeanna Yopp, Harley Yopp, Jessica Yopp and Donald Ray Yopp Jr. all of NY; five grandchildren, Faith, Shayden, Brayden, Hayden and Lyanna; siblings, Sue Robbins of Talcott, Karen Robbins of OH, Patricia Yopp of Talcott, Pamela Fleshman of Alta, Michael Yopp of Talcott, Eugene Yopp of Talcott, Carolyn Edwards of Princeton, Janette Johnson of KY and Sharon Osgood of Peterstown; a special great nephew, Nathan Chewning and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Lifeline Church with Elder Patricia Cales through and by the Triumphant Pentacostal Church officiating. Burial will follow in the O’Bryan Cemetery at Hix. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of services on Monday at the church.

Derick Chewning, Judson Yopp, Michael Yopp, Jerry Wheeler, Norm Richmond and David Chewning will serve as pallbearers.
