David Sprouse

David Harold Sprouse, 58, of Talcott went home to be with the Lord Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Bower’s Hospice House following a long illness.

Born January 21, 1963 at Clifton Forge, VA he was a son of the late Dallas A. and Helen Virginia Maddy Sprouse.

David was a paver for Dean’s Paving Company. He attended Freedom Baptist Church at Powley’s Creek. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Alice Sprouse and two sons, David and Joshua Sprouse.

Those left to cherish his memory include three children, Heather Sprouse and husband Junior of Hilldale, Chelsie Sprouse of Talcott and Danny “Cruz” Galloway of Huntington; five grandchildren, Chloe, Trinnity, Makaela, Grayson and Xavier; one brother, Johnny Ryan and wife Patty of VA; two sisters, Peggy Curry and husband Stacey of OH and Chessie Fitzgerald of VA and lifelong friends, Vickie and Greg Lane, Ricky Clinebell, Jody Mann, Marvin Evans and wife Mary, Joey Dean and wife Jackie and Ray Mills and wife Patsy.

Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor John Offenberger officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until time of services on Thursday at the funeral parlors. Following the services his body will be cremated.
