Charles Richmond

Charles Calvin Richmond, 96, of Indianapolis, passed away July 12, 2020. He was born October 13, 1923 in Ramp, West Virginia to the late Lon and Mary Richmond. Charles attended Charleston School of Business, West Virginia, and married Mildred M. Dawson. He was employed in the sales division of Aero Drapery for 30 years, retiring in 1985. Charles was a longtime member of The Bible Church.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 16, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Bible Church, 6555 East Payne Road, with funeral services there Friday at 11:00 a.m.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Janet Richmond; grandson, Kevin Ewing (Angie); great-grandchildren, Josh Harris, Matthew Ewing, Stephanie Ewing, Nicholas Ewing, Ronnie Ewing and Mikayla Ewing; and many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred M. Richmond; daughter, Dreama Lyons; grandson, Donald Ewing; and ten brothers and sisters.
Memorial contributions are suggested to The Bible Church, 6555 East Payne Road, Indianapolis, IN 46203. Arrangements are entrusted to Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel.
