Zelda Elkins

September 6, 1923 — August 13, 2015

Zelda "Kitty" Elkins, 91, of Ballengee went home to be with the Lord Thursday August 13, 2015 at Glenwood Park following a long illness.
Born September 6, 1923 at McAlpin she was the daughter of the late Ross and Elma Canterbury Jones. A homemaker she lived most of her life in Wyoming County, member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church where she enjoyed the church functions. Mrs. Elkins loved to can her vegetables and to spend time with her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Junior Price; second husband, Roy Elkins; daughter-in-law, Donna Elkins; grandson, David Elkins and three brothers, Jim, John and Leon Jones.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Larry Elkins of Gold Hill, NC, Lundy Elkins and wife Lee of Ingliss, FL, David Price and wife Diane of Lynco, Ken Price and wife Ann of Princeton, Fred Elkins of Ballengee and Jeffrey Elkins and wife Delores of Lynco; adopted son, Steve Bradley and wife Teresa of Rock Hill, SC; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and two sisters, Ruth Lewis of Oceana and Ann Parsons of Canton, OH.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday August 17, 2015 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Sam Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park in Beckley. Friends may call from 11:00 am until time of services on Monday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
