William S. "Billy" Richmond, 51, of Jumping Branch went home to be with the Lord Wednesday February 3, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following a sudden illness.
Born October 3, 1964 in Hopewell, VA he was the son of Robert Richmond Sr. of Hopewell, VA and Edna Moten Richmond of Jumping Branch. Billy worked various jobs throughout his life; most importantly he was a wonderful husband and the best dad. He loved his family with all his heart and was very selfless. He was dearly loved by the Ballengee Family and the Richmond Family and all that knew him.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Vila Moten and paternal grandparents, Reno and Orvie Richmond.
Those left to cherish his name are his loving wife of 20 years, Chasity Richmond at home; four children, Logan and Riley Richmond at home, Jennifer Bouge of Prince George, VA and Willie Nutter and companion of Meadow Bridge; one granddaughter, Jade; one sister, Sandra Bolling and husband Mike of Nimitz; one brother, Bobby Richmond of Ashland, VA and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles that he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday February 6, 2016 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Sonny Angell officiating. Burial will follow in the John P. Lilly Cemetery at Jumping Branch. Friends may call from noon until service time on Saturday at the funeral parlors.
Members of the Jumping Branch/Nimitz Fire Dept. will serve as pallbearers.
