Wilbur Halstead

Wilbur D. â??Buzzâ?? Halstead, 74, of Richmond, VA, formerly of Hinton, died August 7, 2006 at Richmond, following a long illness. Buzz was retired from Virginia Power and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church at Richmond. Preceded in death by two sons; Steven and Gary Halstead. He is survived by a daughter, Monica Dragoni; one stepson, Shawn Johnson; one grandson, Jesse James Halstead; one granddaughter, April Riggins; one great grandson, Chase Freilinsdorf; and his faithful companion, Gretchen. Graveside services and burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday at the Restwood Memorial Gardens at Hinton. There will be no visitation.Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
