Wanda Jones

Wanda Jones, 67, of Hinton went to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a long illness.

Born November 8, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Pansy Martin Fox.

Wanda enjoyed talking on the telephone, coloring and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Jones; one brother, Paul Fox and two sisters, Mary Bennett and Barbara Donitzen.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Sharon Fox and companion Darren LaNier of Pence Springs; one granddaughter, Shelley LaNier; one grandson, Gavin LaNier; one sister, Ida Mae Fox and companion George of Griffiths Creek; two brothers, Ray Fox and wife Joyce of Lowell and Bobby Fox of TN and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating.  Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. Following services, per Wanda’s request, her body will be cremated.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Summers Nursing and Rehabilitation for the excellent care provided to Wanda.
