Virginia "Mogene" Fox, 93, of Tug Creek went home to be with the Lord Wednesday August 19, 2015 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.
Born January 25, 1922 at Tug Creek she was a daughter of the late Burman Green and Emma Jane Bennett Adkins.
Virginia was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker who lived most of her life in Summers County. Virginia enjoyed crocheting, flowers and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William F. Fox; one son, Jerry Lee Fox; one great granddaughter, Amanda Brinegar; one great grandson, Austin Bragg; four brothers, Clyde Bennett and Ben, Buster and Jackie Adkins and three sisters, Patsy Gill and Madlean and Pansy Adkins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Judy Withrow and husband Clifford of Frankford; one sister, Gladys Upton of Hinton; two granddaughters, Lora Adkins and husband Robert and Sally Fox, all of Hinton; three grandsons, Shane Brinegar and wife Tiffany Cales, Justin Fox and companion Amanda Ratliff, all of Tug Creek and Jody Fox and companion Becky Clingan of Ramp; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday August 22, 2015 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Melvin Wills officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery at Tug Creek. Friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral parlors.
Ray Boone, Robbie Brown, Keith Gill, Alonzo Brown, Derek Miller and Grayson Brinegar will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
