Vella Lilly

Vella Mae Lilly 82, of Camp Creek went home to be with the Lord early Friday morning March 11, 2005 in the Raleigh Center at Daniels following a long illness. Born April 8, 1922 at Ellison she was a daughter of the late Theodore McKinley and Bertha Pack Lilly and a lifelong resident of Ellison and Camp Creek. Survived by three sisters; Ila Austin of Camp Creek, Crystal Williams and her husband of New Jersey, and Wilma Jean Rodes of Jumping Branch; two brothers; Emery Lilly of Camp Creek and Kenneth Lilly of Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors from 6-8 P.M. on Monday, March 14, 2005.
