Twilla Freeman

     Twilla Freeman, 68, of Talcott died Thursday, March 16, 2023 at a Huntington hospital following a long illness.

     Born June 28, 1954 at True she was a daughter of the late Henry G. and Edra Adkins.

     Twilla was a former caregiver for many elderly, taking them to doctor appointments, cleaning house and just being a true friend.

     She enjoyed camping, fishing, floating, feeding birds and squirrels and cook outs with family and friends.

     Twilla was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Freeman; one son, Adam Freeman; four brothers, Ray, Dan, Charlie and Roger Adkins and two sisters, Judy Lilly and Connie Woodrum.

     She is survived by four brothers, Frank Adkins and wife Margaret of True, Cletis Adkins and wife Sue Ellen of Hilldale, James Adkins of Hilldale and David Adkins and wife Julie of Hilldale; two sisters, Melda Phillips of Lerona and Carolyn Sherwood of Hilldale; good friend and caregiver, Angie Beavers of Talcott; special friend, Pam Mullins; two sisters in law, Nadine Freeman Bowles and Phyllis Freeman White both of Speedway and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

     Memorial Services for Twilla and Adam will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Butch Honaker officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until time of services on Sunday at the funeral parlors.  A private family burial will follow at the Freeman Family Cemetery.
