Thelma Bragg Chapman, 86, of Mount Hope died Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Bower?s Hospice House following a long illness.
Born August 2, 1926 at Ellison, she was a daughter of the late Basil and Daisy Barlow Bragg.
Thelma was a member of the Jumping Branch Gospel Tabernacle and a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by one sister, Stella Horton.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Harold Chapman and one granddaughter, Sarah Paxton both of Mt. Hope; three brothers, James Bragg and wife Maxine of Nimitz, Glen Bragg and wife Annie of Illinois and Roger Bragg and wife Jane of Jumping Branch; one sister, Virginia Stennett and husband Tom of Nimitz.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Tom Coffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from noon until time of services on Tuesday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
