It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Lynn Gunter. Terry passed away on April 12, 2026, following a short illness.

Born on May 29, 1955, in Beckley, West Virginia, Terry was the daughter of Joe and Velma Pack, both of whom predeceased her, along with her dear sister, Jody.

Terry shared 43 years with her husband, Kenneth. She was the proud mother of Lacie and Kevin, mother-in-law to Melinda, and MeMaw to Cadence.

Terry was a 1973 graduate of Woodrow Wilson and gave 18 years to Beckley ARH.

Instead of traditional funeral services, a celebration of life will be held.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the remarkable Oncology and NeuroTrauma nurses at St. Mary's Hospital. Their compassionate care and support during Terry's final days provided comfort not only to her but to her entire family.
