Tammy Marie Allen Grimmett

            Tammy Marie Allen Grimmett, 59, of Hilldale entered into eternal rest Friday October 14, 2022 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.

            Born September 1, 1963 in Hinton she was a daughter of the late Theodore Johnson and Madeline Virginia Taylor Allen.  She was a former Nursing Assistant at Summers Nursing and Rehab and was a cook for the Greenbrier Hotel at Pence Springs.  Tammy enjoyed music, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

            Preceded in death by one son, Tony Jasper Allen; one grandson, Jasper James Trivett; one sister, Alice Miller and one brother, David Ray Allen.

            Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Kenneth Grimmett; one son, Bradley Trivett and wife Barbara; three grandchildren, Leah Howard, Rikki Huffman and Ellissa Brown; six siblings, James J. Allen and wife Deloris, Gladys Lee Wilson, Linda Bobbitt and husband Bob, Lois Graham and husband James; Benny Mark Allen and wife Debbie and Stacy Allen and Tammy's best friend, Lisa Ward.

            A gathering of family and friends will be held 4:00 pm Friday, October 21, 2022 at Freedom Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at Powleys Creek with Pastor Grant Pettit officiating.  Friends may call from 3:00 pm until time of services on Friday at the church fellowship hall.
