Steve Adam Carr, 41, of Jumping Branch passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Summers County ARH Hospital following a sudden illness.
Born August 17, 1974 at Hinton he was the son of William Roger and Mary Ann Brown Carr of Jumping Branch. A lifelong resident of Summers Co. he enjoyed playing the guitar, hunting, fishing and restoring old vehicles.
Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gerald and Ollie Carr and maternal grandparents, James and Nola Brown.
Besides his parents those left to cherish his memory include two sisters, Rebecca Adkins and husband Jackie of Crab Orchard and Darlene Harris and husband Charlie of Coal City; one brother, William Carr of Jumping Branch; nieces and nephews, Heather Carr, Kerstin Adkins, Alexia Harris and Nikolas Carr and great nieces and nephews, Brenton Carr and Jolene Adkins.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday August 4, 2016 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Don Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in the Wills Family Cemetery at Tug Creek. Friends may call from 11:00 am until service time on Thursday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
