Stephen Ray Lucas, 40, of Talcott passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Division following a long illness.
Born December 31, 1976 at Bluefield he was a son of Joey and Emma Jean Lucas Snow of Talcott.
He was preceded in death by his step father Russell "Shorty" Bennett.
Stephen was a construction worker and a pizza maker who enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, singing and spending time with his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children Stephen Quirk of Virginia, Isaiah Adkins and Nathan Lucas of Hix, Raven Lucas, Rachel Lucas and Elijah Lucas all of Meadow Bridge; special friend, Cassie Zimmerman of Meadow Bridge; two sisters, Mary Ellen Bennett of Talcott and Staci Snow Angell of Georgia; special nephew, Casey Bennett; special niece Alexus Bennett and several special cousins and friends whom he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Lucas Cemetery at True. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
