Stella Carol Harvey Gregory, 73, of Blairsville, GA, formerly of Jumping Branch went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN following a sudden illness.
Born April 10, 1942 at Beech Run she was a daughter of Wade V. and Bessie Pack Harvey.
Carol was of the Baptist faith. She had attended Beckley College and was a homemaker who enjoyed puzzles, reading, listening to gospel music and researching family genealogy. She loved to laugh and lived life to the fullest while spending time with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George O. Gregory; one daughter, Norma Jean Wagoner and three brothers, John, Charles and Jean Harvey.
Those left to cherish her memory include, three daughters, Jewel Gregory and husband Brian of Blairsville, GA, Carol Meador and husband Steve of Blairsville, GA and Mary Burton and husband Robert of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Steven Meador of Blairsville, GA, Richard Burton, Robbie Brandt and wife Chrissy, Trisha Gonzales and husband Ruben all of Cincinnati, OH and one expected little miracle due in July 2016; several great grandchildren; one sister, Janice Deeds of Jumping Branch; two brothers, Vernon Harvey and wife Lottie of Gallipolis, OH and Leroy Harvey and wife Glenna of Fairfield, OH and one sister-in-law, Janis Harvey of Rupert.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Bluestone Baptist Church with Pastors Vincent Deeds and Bill Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
