Sonia Ginger Smith Cline, 62, of Rainelle formerly of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a long illness.
Born May 5, 1955 at Dominican Republic she was of the Baptist faith. Sonia was a homemaker who enjoyed church activities and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Michael Smith and a great grandson, Za'Khari Octave Anthony Smith.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Reginia Ann Smith of White Sulphur; one son, Michael Angelo Smith Mitchem of Rainelle; grandchildren, Jalen Mitchem, Iz'Real Mitchem, Montanna Hoke, Ariana Mitchem, Mackenzie Mitchem, Ikesha McMillion, Erin Duncan, Mia Duncan, Timothy Todd, Shelana St. Clair, Ivy Blake and Jeremy Crookshanks; special friends whom she considered as her children, Rocky Thomas and Paul Rivers; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 6, 2017 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Mountain Church Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until time of services on Monday at the funeral parlors.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
