Rosie Bell Adkins, 67, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Saturday January 23, 2016 at Main Street Care in Hinton following a long illness.
Born October 13, 1948 at Hinton she was the daughter of the late Clifford G. Adkins and Hallie Mae Adkins of Hinton. A lifelong resident of Summers County she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Besides her father she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe D. Adkins and Larry E. Adkins.
Besides her mother those left to cherish her memory include five brothers, Roger L. Adkins of Hinton, George Adkins and wife Audrey of Pipestem, Russell Adkins of Hinton, Billy Adkins of Hinton and Ronnie Adkins of Princeton; four sisters, Betty Burgess of Princeton, Connie Adkins of Bunker Hill, Bonnie Adkins of Hinton and Joyce Snow and husband Ernie of Newport News, VA and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Monday February 1, 2016 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Ron Iddings officiating. Burial will follow in the Esquire Cemetery near Hinton. Friends may call from 10:00 am until service time on Monday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
