Robert Allen Wills Sr., 77, of Madams Creek went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at his home following a sudden illness.
Born April 17, 1948 in Hinton he was a son of the late Clarence R. and Ada Virginia Hamm Wills.
Robert retired from West Virginia Department of Highways with many years of service. He was a devout member of Laurel Creek Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday school teacher. Robert also assisted with Bible Study at Main Street Care in Hinton and Summers Healthcare in Hilldale. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and woodworking.
Robert was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Ray Wills Sr. and wife Sue and Eddie Gene Wills and wife Ginger and one nephew, Jimmy Ray “Buddy” Wills Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, Allen Wills and wife Laura and Andy Wills and wife Jody; four grandchildren, Alexandria Wills, Claire Wills, Hunter Wills and wife Jessie and Mason Wills; one great grandchild, Isabella Wills; one special niece and caregiver, Libby Meadows and husband Timmy and one brother, Melvin Wills and wife Shirley and their sons, Michael and Curtis.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastors Melvin Wills and Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Visitation will be from noon until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral parlor. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
