Mr. Robert Ray ?Bobby? Mann, 65, of Hinton, died Sunday morning at his home, after a bravely fought five year battle with cancer.Born May 13, 1939 at Barger Springs, he was a son of the late Robert E. Mann and the late Mary Wood Mann Wyant.Bobby was a graduate of Hinton High School. He retired in 1990 after 30 years, as a mechanical foreman for Bethlehem Steel, Baltimore, MD. He served as president of the ?Mann Clan? Reunion on Wolf Creek near Alderson since October, 1994. He attended the Riverview Chapel of Hinton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, cooking, family reunions and helping other people. He was a friend to all. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Charles R. Wyant. Survived by his wife of forty-six years, Janice Bennett Mann, one daughter, Rebecca Cincioni and husband John, of Charlotte, NC, one grandson, ?J.C.? Cincioni of Charlotte, NC, two brothers, Bill J. Mann and wife Shirley of Richmond, VA and David G. Mann and wife Janette of Joppa, MD, one sister, Beverly Kaye Harris and husband Melvin of Camden, SC, two half-sisters Susan Worley and husband James of Woolwine, VA and Barbara Dodd of San Diego, CA, seven nephews and two nieces, a special nephew and niece, Robert E. and Loue Anne Bennett of Hinton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Riverview Chapel in Hinton with Jack Wardrope, Harry Pilkington and Lawrence Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Burial Park at Hinton. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton from 6-9:00 P.M. Tuesday and at the church one hour prior to services. Pallbearers: Jim Cook, Wayne Staton, Gary Sears, Herb Skyles, Jim Hart, Jack Lawrence, Frank Jones, Kenneth Sherwood and Pat Brandon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greenbrier Valley Hospice.
Viewing Information: 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral parlor
