Robert Clinton Cox, 69, of Ellison passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at his home.
Born October 29, 1949 at Ellison he was a son of the late Josiah Fred and Martha Elizabeth Farley Cox.
He was a timberman and had worked as a security guard at Pipestem State Park.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Norris and Tommy Cox and one daughter, Melissa Robin Cox.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Connie Ward Cox at home; one son, Josiah Cox of Ellison; three daughters, Ronda Sue Weikle of Ellison, Tammy Cox Miller of Middletown, OH and Rebecca Lynn McBride of Pipestem; grandchildren, Jamie and Travis Reliford, Tory and Brittany Miller, M.J., Samantha, Chase and Jacob McBride, Kayla and Tyler Cox; great grandchildren, Jaida, Maci and William Travis; three brothers, Fred Cox of Ellison, Ricky Cox of OH and Randy Cox of Flat Top.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Philip Farrington officiating. Burial will follow at Cox Family Cemetery at Ellison. Friends may call from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral parlors. Family will serve as pallbearers.
