Ricky Lee Wheeler

Ricky Lee Wheeler, 70, of Judson passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 at Summers Healthcare Center following a long illness.

Born April 8, 1955 in Hinton he was a son of Lois Bolen Wheeler of Blue Jay and the late Porter Myrl Wheeler.

Ricky had worked as a carpenter, a brakeman for C&O Railroad and as a coalminer. He served in the U.S. National Guard for six years. Ricky enjoyed playing his guitar and spending time with his family and friends.

Besides his father he was preceded in death by one step son, Mark Wheeler.

Besides his mother those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Anna Boone Wheeler; two step daughters, Penny Crawford Wheeler and Robin Richmond; three step grandchildren, Darren Forren, Alexis Wickline and husband Johnny and James Fleshman; sixteen step great grandchildren and six step great great grandchildren; four siblings, Joe Wheeler and wife Vickie, Lorie Adkins and husband Michael, Lucille Shuck and Wanda Adkins and husband Vincent; special great grandchildren, Serenity Rain Forren, Joel Isaac Wheeler and Ethan Richmond and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Saturday at the funeral parlors. A private burial will be held at a later date.
