Phyllis Reed Coffman, 50, of Madamâ??s Creek, Hinton, died Friday, October 28, 2005 at her home following an extended illness. Born July 31, 1955 in Hinton, she was a daughter of Talmadge Reed of Madamâ??s Creek, Hinton and the late Edna Lilly Reed. Phyllis was a former Receptionist and Personal Secretary to Dr. C. P. Sharma, she had worked for a short time as Secretary at the First Presbyterian Church at Hinton and most recently had worked as a Receptionist for Dr. Stanley T. Day. She was a graduate of Hinton High School Class of 1973, attended the Bellepoint Baptist Church in Hinton, where she was involved with the youth as pianist and formerly helped with the church newsletter. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald â??Ronnieâ?? Reed. Besides her father, she is survived by her husband, Paul Coffman at Home, one daughter, Kristen Coffman Boothe and husband Dan of Beaver, two sons, Keith Coffman of Beckley and Cody Coffman a student at High Point University at High Point, NC, two grandsons, Travis and Alex Boothe, two brothers, Kenneth Reed and wife Darlene of Wise, VA and Robert Reed and wife Linda of Madams Creek, Hinton. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Vondie Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens at Hinton. Friends may call at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors from 6-8 P.M. Sunday. Pallbearers: Frank Wheby, Jack Hartwell, Dickie Cook, Buck Meadows, Mason Jones and Mike Wood. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to â??The Walk For Her Lifetimeâ??, c/o Margie Temple, Summers Co. Appalachian Regional Hospital, P.O. Box 940, Hinton, WV 25951.
