Phillip Dale Dillon, 61, of Talcott entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 14, 2018 following injuries received from an accident while cutting timber.
Born November 11, 1956 at Talcott he was a son of the late Charles Lewis and Gertrude Allen Dillon.
Dale was a U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran who attended Friendship Baptist Church. He was a carpenter and cabinet maker. Dale enjoyed hunting, the river and fishing, he was a true outdoorsman. Dale also loved his dogs, Willy and Baby Tree.
He was preceded in death by siblings; Jo Ann Dillon Boyd, Clara Lou Dillon Graham, Douglas Dillon, Donna Dillon Wykle and Richard Dillon.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Drema Huffman Dillon at home; two daughters, Breanna Dillon-Kees and husband Brett of White Sulphur Springs and Devin Hodge and husband Drexel of South Charleston; three grandchildren, Moonhawk and Sunwolf Hodge and Soren Dillon-Kees; two brothers, John William "Bill" Dillon and wife Becky of Hilldale and Charles Lewis Dillon Jr. of OH; three step children, Susan Buckland and companion David Bragg Jr. of Hinton, Sarah Trivett and husband Billy Trivett III of Willowood and Samantha Gray and husband Billy Gray II of Peterstown; five step grandchildren, Carly Richmond, Bailey Ward, Mackenzie and Halley Gray and Remington Bragg and mother in law, Leota Spade of Pence Springs.
Memorial services will be 7:00 P.M. Friday, August 17, 2018 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Joe Spencer officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. prior to the service on Friday at the funeral parlors. Following the services the body will be cremated at Dale's request.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
