Pauline Lilly Lane, 92, of Hinton died peacefully Sunday January 22, 2017 at Debra Cline's Care Home following a long illness.
Born July 4, 1924 at Madams Creek she was the daughter of the late Paul S. and Mae Ward Lilly. A member of the Mt. Olivet Church, former employee of Summers County Hospital where she was employed as a dietician, enjoyed Fourth of July Celebrations, trips to Pigeon Forge and all types of special events.
Preceded in death by her husband Carl Lane; two grandsons, Scott and Robert Lane and one sister, Jewell Massie.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Carolyn Jones and husband Mason of Bellepoint; two sons, Franklin Sam Lane and companion Dorothy of Asbury and Jerry Lane and wife Alice of Hilldale; seven grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday January 25, 2017 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastors Mark Brandon and Daniel Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral parlors.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
