Patricia S. Rutherford

Patricia S. Rutherford, 76, of Greenville passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 following a long illness.

     Born November 13, 1946 at Lithia, VA she was a daughter of the late Latane Barker and Virginia Ruth Young Shay.

     Patricia was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, making quilts and fishing with her grandson.

     Patricia was preceded in death by one brother, Latane Barker Shay Jr. (May 5, 2022).

     Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Terry Rutherford; four children, Stephanie Feury, Barry Hodges and wife Janene, Terry Hodges and wife Teresa and Peggy Brooks and husband Kevin; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Rebecca Guacheta; one brother, Greg G. Shay and wife Donna and several nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly.

     At Patricia’s request her body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
