Oris Jennings “Jenky” Lilly Jr., 74, of Nimitz went to be with Jesus Thursday July 9, 2026, at his home following a long illness surrounded by his loving caregivers and family Luke, Katie Jo, and Judy.

Born September 26, 1951, in Beckley he was the son of the late Oris Jennings Sr. and Wanda Bennett Lilly Kirk. A lifelong Coal Miner and member of the UMWA, former member of Jumping Branch- Nimitz VFD. Jenky was an EMT and attended Mt. Olivet Church and White Oak Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being in the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, O.J. Lilly and wife Megan and Luke Lilly and wife Katie Jo; two grandchildren, Coy and Kynlee Lilly and Roy Lee Crook whom he considered as his third son.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Monday July 13, 2026, at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Danny Harris officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday at the funeral parlors. Following the service at Jenky’s request, cremation will take place.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Hospice of Southern WV.

A very special heartfelt thanks to Hospice of Southern WV for the great care and support of “Jenky” during his final days on this earth. He is now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
