Norma Lee Shores

     Norma Lee Shores, 75, of Montverde, FL formerly of Hix went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 30, 2023 in Clermont, FL.

     Born September 9, 1947 in Hinton she was the daughter of the late Cecil Biggs and Louvina Ward Biggs Walls.

     Norma was a beautiful woman having been a professional model and an incredible force of nature. She was truly loved by many.  Norma was known for her many artistic talents and beautiful wire wrap jewelry. She was very creative and genius in every way you could imagine.  Norma loved traveling and going on cruises. A loving mother to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and will leave a huge vacancy in all of our hearts.  Norma was the first to help someone in need, lending a hand and always believing the best in everyone. She was a hard working woman having been a widow for over 30 years, she chopped wood, changed tires, cooked, did plumbing and provided for her family. She was an inspiration to all and lived her life with passion.

     Norma was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Shores and one daughter, Anna Marie Shores Kennedy.

     Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Suehaven Neubaur and husband Arthur; grandchildren, Rachel Alexis Neubaur, James Robert Neubaur, Lauren Marie Neubaur, Nicole Dominique Neubaur, Edward William Neubaur, Jeremiah William Kennedy, Joshua Robert Lowe and Joseph Kennedy and great grandchildren, Colton Scott Kennedy and Haley Brooke Kennedy.

     Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Friday, April 7, 2023 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Patricia Cales officiating. Burial will follow in the Friend Ward Cemetery at Hix. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Friday at the funeral parlors.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
