Nile Horton

Mr. Nile Bruce Horton, 62, of Maple Heights, OH, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at the Parma General Hospital at Parma, OH, following a long illness.Born November 9, 1941, he was a son of the late James B. and Nanna Horton.Mr. Horton was a retired railroad inspector.He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Bragg Horton in May of this year.Survived by one son, Bruce Nickels of Tampa, FL, two stepdaughters, Beverly A. Dietz and Erma L. Haynes and husband Orlen, and one stepson, Julius D. Lilly, all of the Maple Heights area, one brother, Danny Vanover and one sister, Dallas Wright both of Neon, KY, twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Ronald Meadow Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Elmo Alderman officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 6-9 P.M. Friday. His grandsons and cousins will serve as pallbearers.
