Mildred Agnes Martin, 76, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Bower's Hospice House following a long illness.
Born August 1, 1940 at Talcott she was a daughter of the late Lonnie Adkins and Rachael Raines of Hinton.
Mildred was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Summers County. She was of the Christian faith. Mildred enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Granville Martin Sr.; son, Granville Lee Martin Jr.; stepson, Kelly Martin; stepdaughter, Francis Martin Lilly and two brothers, Eddie Lee Adkins and Dilbert Lee Adkins.
Those left to cherish her memory include, two sons, Billy Ray Martin Sr. of Hinton and Keith Adkins and wife Betty of Hinton; one daughter, Anna Pritt of Bradley; one stepdaughter, Glenna Martin Anderson and husband Ed of Christiansburg, VA; four grandchildren, Billy Ray Martin Jr., Scottie Martin, Angel Martin Grimmett and Isabella Kellar; six great grandchildren, Colton Martin, Remington Martin, Noah, Zachary, Brady and Jacob Grimmett; two sisters, Eunice Raines of Hinton and Lula Lynch of FL and two brothers, Timmy Kirby of SC and Donnie Ray Adkins of Hinton.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Eddie Crews officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly Crews Cemetery in Nimitz. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. Wednesday until time of services.
