Melvin Marsh Adkins, 72, of Hinton passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Cabell Huntington Hospital following a brief illness.

Born August 11, 1954 in Hinton he was a son of the late Hunter Dunn and Mandy Jane Dryson Adkins.

Melvin was a handyman who enjoyed gardening and working around his home.

Those left to cherish his memory include one sister, Ella Mae Owens of TN and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time.
