Maydean O. Hill, 67, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 21, 2016 at her home following a short illness.
Born April 8, 1948 at Hinton she was the daughter of the late Russell and Oma Ward Gill. A homemaker she was a devoted wife and mother who loved all children. Maydean loved planting and tending to her flower garden.
Preceded in death by one brother, Charles R. Gill.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 48 years, Bobby Hill Sr. of Hinton; three children, Bobby Hill Jr. and wife Kathy of Jumping Branch, Michelle Angell and husband Steve of Hinton and Greg Hill of Hinton; one grandson, Steven Angell Jr. of Hinton; two step-grandchildren, Echo Hines of Alderson and Breeze Ferguson of Jumping Branch; two sisters, Margie Weikle of Union and Marie Meadows of Hinton; three brothers, Roger, Billy and Jimmy Gill all of Hinton; special friend, Melva Hill of Princeton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Roy Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Hill Family Cemetery at Pipestem. Friends may call from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
