Mary Elaine Selby McKnew

Mary Elaine Selby McKnew, 75, of Lowell passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

Born February 23, 1950 in Hyattsville, MD she was a daughter of the late John and Jane Sprague Selby.

Mary was a homemaker who loved guitar, outdoors, whitewater rafting and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving and supporting mother. Mary will be forever missed with her bright blue eyes, corky demeanor and her ponytails.

She was preceded in death by one son, Brett M. McKnew and siblings, Toby, Janet and Linda Selby.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Jamee Elaine Danberry; one grandson, Nicholas Logan Danberry and siblings, Candy and Bo Selby.

Mary’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be no services at this time.
