Marvin Wilson Hill

Marvin Wilson Hill, 83, of Cleveland, OH, formerly of Pipestem, WV went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the Wickliffe Country Place Wickliffe, OH following a long illness.

            Born January 24, 1940 at Pipestem, he was a son of the late Albert H. and Addie Bower Hill.

            Marvin was an exceptional automobile mechanic and retired from Conrail Railway having served as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his children.

            He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Hill; two brothers, and eight sisters.

            Those left to cherish his memory include three sons; Robert Daniel Hill of Cleveland, OH, William David Hill of Willowick, OH, and Joseph Randolph Hill and wife Theda of Ashtabula, OH; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; one sister, Sadie Burney; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

            Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton, WV, with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Lilly-Crews cemetery at Nimitz. Friends may call from 11:00 am until time of services Wednesday at the funeral parlors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
