Martha Yancey

Martha Sue ?Susie? Yancey, 48, of Beckley, formerly of Hinton, died Monday, October 11, 2004 at her home. Born January 17, 1956 at Talcott, she was a daughter of the late Harold Yancey and the late Frances Virginia Bragg. Susie had lived most of her life at Hinton and Beckley, she was a licensed Beautician and a member of the Old Country Church of Hinton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Adkins. Survived by three sons, Jamie, Eric, and Joey Yancey all of Beckley, Paternal Grandmother, Martha Yancey of Hilldale, four brothers, Michael Bragg of Savannah, GA, James Bragg of Beckley Lee Yancey of Meadow Bridge and Chris Yancey of Hinton, two step brothers, Tom Chewning of Hinton and Tim Chewning of Mt. Hope, two step sisters, Bonnie Young of True and Connie Adkins of Newport News, VA, two grandchildren, Hope and Faith Meadows and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Ray Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Wimmer Cemetery near Hinton. Friends may call at the funeral parlor from 11:00 A.M. until funeral time on Saturday.
