Marsha Ann Cooper Davis

It is with deep sadness that we are announcing the passing of Marsha Ann Cooper Davis, 72, of 211 6th Ave. Hinton, who went to be in Heaven with Jesus on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026. Marsha was the best wife, mother, nanny and great nanny that life would have ever gifted her family. She was the foundation that held the family together and can never be replaced.

 Marsha was born March 20, 1954, and was the daughter of the late Harry Raymond and Eloise Ratliff Cooper of Beech Run. She was preceded in death by her daughter Courtney Davis Lyons and three sisters Karen Porter, Judy Cashwell and Penny Wills. Marsha is survived by her loving husband Benny Davis of Hinton, daughter Valerie and fiance Roy of Charlotte, NC. Her beautiful granddaughter Abigail Richmond and husband Logan and their precious girls, Everly and Eden who were the light of her life. Her precious grandsons Clark Johnson, Kyle Johnson, and Solomon Lyons. She is also survived by her brother in law of St. Augustine, Florida Jim Cashwell and her niece Angela Fackler and nephew Lee Cashwell and their families as well as her niece Ashley Wills of Raleigh County. Special mention of people who were very dear to her heart is Willie Lyons, Amanda Uhlig, Jason and Staci Farmer and Edith Coffman.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Thursday August 13, 2026 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Robbie Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Restwood Memorial Gardens near Hinton. Visitation will be held from 11:30 am until time of services on Thursday at the funeral parlors.Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made to one’s choice of charity.
