Margie Lorene Rucker, 90, of Beckley, WV passed away Wednesday March 9, 2016 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV following a short illness.
Born March 5, 1926 at Meadow Creek, WV she was the daughter of the late Elsie Rucker and Fleta Bell Childrey Rucker.
Margie was a homemaker who enjoyed going to flea markets and who loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by one son, Howard Rucker; seven brothers and four sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Margie is survived by two sons, Edgar Rucker and wife Rachel of Grandview, WV and Darrell Rucker and wife Debra of Newark, DE; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins and one special friend, Shirley Cornell of Newark, DE.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Bill Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Burial Park near Hinton. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Saturday at the funeral parlors.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors of Hinton.
