Lynne Alice Worden Bauer

Lynne Alice Worden Bauer, 72, of Hinton went home to be with the Lord Saturday June 7, 2025, at CAMC Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness.

Born August 28, 1952, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Linden S. and Rhea A. Aubut Worden. Lynne was a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy with a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy and a faithful member of St. Patricks Catholic Church. She enjoyed hiking, photography, gardening and tending to her chickens.

Preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn McKillop.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, John M. “Buck” Bauer; three daughters, Shana Bowen, Jennifer Clarke and husband David and Melissa Van Kampen and husband C.J.; two grandchildren, Juliana and Holly Daigle; one brother, Stephen Worden and wife Kelly; brother-in-law, James McKillop Jr. and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Lynne’s request there will be no services and cremation services have been entrusted to the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors and Cremation Care Center.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
