Linda Gail Roberts

Linda Gail Roberts, 73, of Meadow Creek went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Bower’s Hospice House following a long illness.

 Born December 11, 1950 at Hinton she was a daughter of the late James Earl and Betty Lou Vandall Ward.

 Linda was a former clerk at Triangle One Stop for 18 years and a member of Living Waters Baptist Church. She loved to swim, her dogs and spending time with family and friends. Linda always greeted you with a smile. 

 She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Michael Reed and Elizabeth Reed and a special son in law, Butch Brown.

 Those left to cherish her memory include, her husband of 55 years, Earl Roberts; four children, Melanie Hatcher and husband Chris, Sherrie Brown, Kelly Yancey and husband David and Chloe Alden; one granddaughter, Shawna Leopard; one great grandson, Michael Gage Smith and two brothers, Kenny Ward and wife Kathy and Kevin Ward.

 Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Mike Gunnoe officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Saturday prior to services. Following services, at Linda’s request, her body will be cremated. The family wishes to thank all the staff of Bower’s Hospice House for the loving, compassionate care that was given.
