Lilly Petrey

Lilly Madeline Petrey, 86, of Hinton, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at the Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, at Wayne, WV following a long illness. Born December 20, 1918 at Hinton, she was a daughter of the late Thad and Mattie Maddy Scarbro. Mrs. Petrey was a lifelong resident of Hinton, she was a homemaker and a Baptist. Preceded in death by her husband, Burl Petrey, one daughter and four sons. She is survived by one son, Bobby Petrey and wife Sue of Albany, KY and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Lawrence Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Mt. Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral parlors from 9:30 until funeral time on Friday.
