Kenneth “Marshall” Humphries, 76, of Hilldale went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Bowers Hospice House following a sudden illness.

Born February 12, 1950 in Covington, VA he was a son of Kenneth Lee and Mary Carol Lilly Humphries.

Marshall was a former police officer for the Hinton Police Department and Monroe County Sheriff’s Department. He was also Chief of Police in Rhodell and retired as a security guard at Glade Springs Resort. Marshall enjoyed taking his dog “Hobo” for rides in the country.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors and there will be no services.
