Kathryn Yates

Kathryn ?Kitty? Meadows Jolly Yates, age 83, of Danville, Va., died Saturday, February 26, 2005, in the Roman Eagle Memorial Home. She was born in Hinton, W.Va on November 6, 1921, a daughter of Fred and Arabelle Farley Meadows. She was first married to Richard Jolly and later married Robert Yates, both deceased. She was a sales clerk at G.C. Murphy for a number of years and was of the Christian Faith. She was predeceased by three brothers, Fred Meadows, John Meadows, and Charles Meadows; a sister, Hazel Lilly and a half-sister Cronie Petrey. She is survived by a daughter, Maribelle Jolly Waddell of Chatham, Va.; two sons, Richard M. Jolly of Capitan, N.M. and Thomas E. Jolly of Englewood, Co.; two step-sons, Robert Yates of Winters, Ca., and Robin Yates of Pueblo, Co.; a step-daughter, Lynne Campbell of Farmington, N.M.; six-half brothers, Frank , Fred, Jack, Jesse, and Charles Meadows all of Hinton, W.Va.; and Oscar Meadows of Charleston, W.Va.; three half-sisters, Nellie Martin, Martha Cooper and Goldie Furrow of Hinton, W.Va.; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Graveside service and burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 5, 2005 at the Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton, W.Va. with the Rev. Jack Waddell officiating. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Townes Funeral Home, Danville Va.; from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. and at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors, Hinton on Friday March 4, 2005 from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M.
