Karen Lilly

Karen Kay Lilly, 54, of Nimitz, died at 1:45 A.M. Wednesday at the Raleigh General Hospital at Beckley, following a long illness. Born April 13, 1951 at Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Eldridge McKinley and Isobelle Martin Bragg. Mrs. Lilly was a homemaker, a member of the Primative Baptist Church and had been a resident of Nimitz for the past 31 years. Preceded in death by a son, Kenton Lee Lilly in 1976. Survived by her husband, Leonard Lilly at home, one son, Cullie Lilly of Hilldale, four brothers, Gary, Don, Glen, and Alan Bragg all of Jumping Branch and two sisters, Dorothy Martin of Beckley and Angie Meadows of Odd. Graveside services and burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday at the Sluss Family Cemetery on Mt. View Road. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
