Judy Kay Mooney

Judy Kay Mooney, 77, of Coal City went home to be with the Lord, August 5, 2025, at the Hilltop Center. Born August 20, 1947, at Calico Rock, Arkansas to the late Henry Allen and Virgie Maxine Burgess Lynn.

A homemaker who loved God and her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband Dean loved spoiling her, and she loved him with all her heart. She enjoyed creating various types of jewelry.

Preceded in death by her sister, Brenda McDonald and two brothers, Bobby and Gary Lynn.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Larry Dean Mooney; three children, Derick Foster and wife Andreina, Brad Foster and wife Vicky and Dolly Sadler and husband Jeff; five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; four siblings, Phillip Lynn, Wilma Rosson, Mary Lynn and Betty McDole and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Whitby Community Church 1400 Whitby Road, Coal City West Virginia. Friends may call from noon until service time on Saturday at the church.
