Juanita Carol Berry, 73, of Freezeland Mountain went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.

Born December 28, 1952 at Freezeland Mountain she was a daughter of the late Seymore and Martha Marie Bennett Adkins.

Juanita was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, farming and taking care of flowers and her cattle.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jessica Dawn Berry; one granddaughter, Abigail Marie Keaton and three siblings, Benny Adkins, Emory Adkins and Nina Carroll.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 51 years, Curtis Russell Berry; two daughters, Martha Ann Berry and Margaret Berry; one special great grandson, Tyler Berry; six siblings, Grover Adkins, Reo Adkins, Seymore Adkins, Elmore Adkins, Sylvin Adkins and Mary Crook; her beloved dog, Haddie and numerous nieces and nephews.

At Juanita’s request there will be no services and cremation services have been provided by Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors.
